Hand Picked – LEXINGTON, SC
MONDAY! MONDAY! MONDAY!!!!! ..yes. Monday, November 12, 2007, Hand Picked is opening their new store in Lexington, SC. It is going to be located in the new Target shopping center on Sunset Blvd. This is very exciting for me since I was just hired and I will be one of the first fashion consultants to work there. Today, my co-workers and I were at the new store unpacking boxes and putting all of the merchandise in the back room and whatnot. It was a good time.
Tonight is the CMA’s (Country Music Awards). I’ve never actually watched the CMA’s before… not really sure why, but I will tonight. HOWEVER, I will have to be switching back and forth between that and……… [are you ready for it?]…………. BIONIC WOMAN!!!!!!……. and…….. LIFE!!!!!! yay! I’m a little obsessed. I’ll admit it.
Oh, the grunts of Ken changing clothes and getting into the shower after his run… [ARRRRRRRG... UUUUUGGHHHHH....HHUUUUUURRRHH...]. It’s beautiful. Really.

“Sick as a dog.”
I’m sick again. Last night was probably the worst night ever. I got probably a total of 2 hours of sleep, and I was so congested with a sore throat and a headache, then I woke up with a fever. UGH! I am sick as a dog. Who thought of that phrase, anyway? I wonder if dogs get insulted when they hear that. I know I would be.
I found an awesome song today on MySpace… it’s called “What’s Your Altitude” by Cut Chemist. It’s a real “jammin’” tune, yo.
Speaking of “jammin’”, Chris Brown is the shit. And who knew that he was from Tappahannock, VA? I sure didn’t. Well, now I do… obviously. If you didn’t see his performance at this year’s VMA’s, you missed out.

First Blog.
Alright… so, this is my first blog. If you are a blogger you understand the “blank-mindedness” of your first entry. You don’t know what the hell to write about and you just end up rambling on about nothing just to take up space, and try to sound witty enough so people will want to come back later and read what you’ve written. So, now that I’ve gotten the obvious out of the way, I guess I’ll say a little bit about myself.
My name is Christina and I currently live in Columbia, South Carolina. I used to live in Chesterfield, VA but I just moved down here to live with my boyfriend after I got in a fight with my mother (she and I are ok now). I went to James Madison University for a year and a half and majored in dance, but then I got really sick and my grades started to suffer, so I left. Now, I am not in school but I want to go back (somewhere other than JMU) for Occupational Therapy. I love JMU and everything, but it’s not for me anymore. I work at Hand Picked which is an awesome jewelry store, and I recommend it to everyone. I like watching The Hills, but no, I’m not like the other stereotypical girls that do. I like hiking and camping and all that cool outdoorsy stuff… it’s hard not to when you’re dating an Appalachian Trail thru-hiker.
Well, I’m you have thoroughly enjoyed reading a summary of my current life situation, so I will leave you with this…
